Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how LegalLimit.com handles visitor information today. Our goal is to be straightforward: the site collects very little data, and this document describes actual practice rather than hypothetical capabilities.

Information we collect

As of the effective date below, LegalLimit.com does not collect personally identifiable information from visitors. Specifically:

  • The site does not use cookies to identify, track, or personalize content for visitors.
  • The site does not run web analytics software of any kind.
  • The site does not offer user accounts, and there is no sign-up, sign-in, or profile feature.
  • The site does not embed third-party advertising, tracking pixels, or social media trackers.

The only routine data capture associated with the site consists of standard server request logs recorded by our hosting provider, Vercel. These logs may include the requesting IP address, the user agent string, the requested URL, and a timestamp. This is typical operational logging used by virtually all web hosts.

How information is used

Server logs are used for operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and security, for example to investigate errors or identify abusive request patterns. Logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard retention practices.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share data with any third party beyond what is inherent in using our hosting provider to serve pages. No data is used for advertising.

Third-party services

Our hosting provider is Vercel. Vercel may process the server logs described above under its own privacy practices, which you can review on Vercel's website. No third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking pixels are integrated into LegalLimit.com at this time.

External links

Articles on LegalLimit.com routinely link to primary sources such as state statutes, court opinions, and agency publications. Those external sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible. Review the privacy policy of any external site before providing information there.

Your browser controls

Because the site does not set cookies or run analytics, there is nothing to opt out of on LegalLimit.com today. If you wish to further limit the information your browser sends to any website, you can adjust your browser's privacy settings or use tracking-protection features built into modern browsers.

Future changes

If the site later adds analytics, user accounts, newsletter sign-ups, or any other feature that collects additional information, this policy will be updated to describe the change, and we will post a notice on the site before the new practice takes effect.

Contact

Contact options will be published as the site matures; material changes to this policy will be announced on-site.

Children's privacy

LegalLimit.com is intended for a general adult audience. The site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and no information is knowingly collected from children under 13.
